Hotel & Zimmer | Welcome to Vauldalen Fjellhotell, a family-owned and operated hotel. We take pride in offering our guests superb service, traditional cuisine and organised activities all year long. We are located 35 minutes east of Røros and 5 minutes from the Swedish border.

A variety of outdoor experiences are available to our guests, such as an excursion by horse-drawn sleigh or buggy to the Volldalskoja – the Volldal Cabin – for lunch or dinner. Other special activities include reindeer rides where you drive your own reindeer-drawn sleigh into the woods, snowmobile safaris over the Swedish trail system, teambuilding led by skilled instructors, angling in the mountain lakes around us, mountain safaris on horseback – and much more! A minimum group of ten is required for most activities.

The gorgeous scenery is an inviting setting for mountain hikes in the winter, summer and autumn. And for skiing in the winter, the Tänndalen Alpine Centrum ski resort, with 25 trails, is only 10 minutes away from the hotel.
